Congress leader Shobha Oza on Wednesday said that all leaders and bureaucrats involved in the Vyapam scam must resign, and added that there are many big fishes yet to be trapped in this case.
"There are many big fishes to be trapped in the case yet. Those involved have exploited many innocent futures," Oza said.
"I truly believe that all the people involved in this scam will be exposed soon. It is a big scam and guilty should be strictly punished," she added.
The Congress leader had earlier demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the Vyapam scam.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav has stepped down from his post. He was earlier asked to resign by the Union Home Ministry after he was named in a police complaint in connection with the Vyapam scam involving politicians and government officials.
The Special Task Force, which is probing the scam, reportedly needs presidential sanction to chargesheet him.
The scam involves the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board or Vyapam, which holds the exams for positions like medical officers, constables, teachers and auditors for government departments.
The candidates allegedly bribed government officials to make it to the list of those who cleared the test.
