English association football club Croydon Athletic's midfielder Louis Blake was given a bizarre red card by a referee in the FA Cup for turning up in under-shorts that did not match the club's maroon kit colour.
According to metro.co.uk, on the request of the referee to 'prove' he had removed his under-shorts before coming back, the youngster pulled the top of his shorts down just enough to show he had paid attention to the referee's request, only to be shown a straight red card for uncovering his modesty.
The player revealed that he was shocked and angry and did not see any other way to prove that he had got nothing on down below.
He was upset with the fact that he was probably going to have to miss three upcoming games.
