Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Satish Upadhyay today said that the Aam Aadmi Party's decision to send a fact finding team to Gohana, Haryana, where a 15-year-old Dalit boy's dead body was found, was aimed at politicising the issue and added that the latter had themselves ill-treated SC/ST officers in Delhi.

"They are doing politics over every matter. It is Haryana, let Khattarji manage things there. You go to Haryana, you go to UP, but you are unable to handle Delhi. There are administrative problems in Delhi, there is a dengue problem in Delhi," Upadhyay told ANI.

"As far as caste politics is concerned, you have ill-treated SC/ST officers. Have they forgotten about ill-treatment of SC/ST officers, and then, they go to Haryana and do politics. Every state has a problem of its own," he added.

The Aam Aadmi Party is sending MLAs Rakhi Bidlan, Rajendra Gautam, Prakash Jarwal and Manoj Kumar to Gohana.

Villagers and the kin of the boy have accused the police of killing him. The situation in Gohana remains tense.
