Late Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar's son Utpal and Abhijit have been asked to join the BJP, said Goa BJP president Vinay Tendulkar on Monday.
"BJP national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna has requested both the sons Parrikar to join the BJP when he met them after the leader's death. We will follow up on the offer with the sons on behalf of the party," Tendulkar told ANI
Utpal is an electrical engineering graduate from Michigan State University while Abhijit a local businessman by profession.
Parrikar, a senior BJP leader, died on March 17 evening after a prolonged battle against cancer at the age of 63.
