The Islamic militant group Boko Haram is adopting IS' religious cleansing strategy by putting Nigeri's 70 million Christians in danger for their lives, said human rights advocates.
According to Fox News, the militant group has carried out murderous rampages throughout Nigeria, and into neighboring Chad, Cameroon and Niger.
Boko Haram militants, in an attack on April 7, killed at least 24 people in Nigeria's Borno state after they disguised themselves as preachers.
The United Nations condemned the attack and called for a multinational strategy to fight the group.
