At least three people have been killed and a dozen injured in a bomb blast targeting the convoy of Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain's son in the industrial town of Hub in Balochistan.
ASP Investigation Hub Jam Mandokhel, however, refused to say that Salman Mamnoon's convoy was the target, saying that DPO Bashir Brohi's motorcade, which was also driving past the area at the time, could have been a target too. He added that they would investigate the attack from both angles, reported The Express Tribune.
Mandokhel said a child was among those killed in the attack, after a bomb planted on a motorcycle, which was parked on the roadside, was detonated through a remote. Four policemen were injured in the blast, too.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
