Jon Bon Jovi has been axed from the group bidding for the Buffalo Bills.
Sources revealed that the American singer-songwriter has parted ways from the Toronto-based sports team owners, who are bidding for the Buffalo Bills, Fox News reported.
According to sources, Bon Jovi would have led the group and become the lead bidder, which involves putting together 30 percent of the purchase price, but Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment feared that they would lose the bid to rival bidder Terry Pegula.
Sources added that the investment bank selling the Bills, Morgan Stanley, has reportedly been trying to find new partners for him.
However, the remaining entities in the group are certain that they are in a stronger position to win the Bills auction without Bon Jovi.
