Researchers have developed a new James Bond-like gun, which has been thought to be the world's first smart gun.
The 'iPhone of guns', as it has been called in the US, is a safer version of a standard gun by only allowing people with a specialised watch to fire it, the Daily Star reported.
Just like the gun in Bond film 'Skyfall', the new personalised gadget only works if close to the watch it is synced with.
Thanks to a built-in smart chip, a light on the grip turns green when ready to use and if it doesn't light up it is just a useless paperweight.
Gun manufacturer Armatix are hoping the new-age iP1 design will be safer than regular guns with strangers and enemies unable to use them.
