Tennis legend Boris Becker has said that he believes Wimbledon champion Andy Murray needs to set himself new challenges after losing his US Open title with a defeat in the quarter-finals.
According to the BBC, the Briton, who won his first major title at Flushing Meadows last year, lost 6-4 6-3 6-2 to Swiss player Stanislas Wawrinka.
Becker, a former US Open and six-time Grand Slam champion, believes Murray must find new inspiration, the report said.
He said that the Scot needs to set new goals, find new reasons to work harder and play better, adding that he has not yet been the number one player in the world, has not won at the ATP World Tour Finals, or the Australian Open.
Murray, who won Olympic gold and the US Open in 2012, admitted after Thursday's defeat that it had not been easy to adjust after becoming the first British man to win Wimbledon for 77 years in July, the report said.
Murray will play for Great Britain against Croatia in the Davis Cup next week, with his next tournament scheduled to be the Thailand Open in Bangkok from 23 September, the report added.
