Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and their Plan B production company are set to adapt a Rolling Stone article about a hacker who exposed the cover-up of the infamous Steubenville rape case into a movie.
The article titled 'Anonymous vs. Steubenville', which was written by David Kushner, will be made into a movie after the rights were bought by New Regency, Brett Ratner and James Packer's RatPac Entertainment, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
The article published in November 2013, tells the story of Deric Lostutter, a member of the hacker group Anonymous who helped expose a cover-up of the rape of a 16-year-old girl by two high school football players in Steubenville, Ohio.
Sources have claimed that the producers currently are considering writers and directors for the project.
