Angelina Jolie has revealed that she and Brad Pitt were already married before their secret nuptials on August 23, 2014.
The 39-year-old actress said that before the wedding in France with the kids, she and Pitt were already married in California, adding that as Americans, they couldn't marry legally in France, E! Online reported.
The 'Unbroken director' continued about her marriage in California that one day she said to the 51-year-old actor to meet up at 4:30 p.m., after which she called a justice of the peace and then they signed the documents.
Later on, the 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' co-stars exchanged their vows inside an ancient stone chapel at Chateau Miraval, which is the Jolie-Pitt family's estate in Correns, France.
