Brazilian goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni has broken former Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs' record for most wins with a single club.
Ceni reached his 590th win with Sao Paulo on Monday night to surpass the mark previously set by Giggs.
The veteran goalkeeper is the world's most prolific scorer in the position with 123 goals. He already has eight goals in this year's Brazilian league as Sao Paulo trails leader Cruzeiro by five points with seven rounds left in the competition, Sport24 reported.
Ceni, who is set to retire at the end of the year, was a member of Brazil's World Cup squad in 2002 and 2006 and has played 1,174 matches for Sao Paulo.
Giggs ended his United career with 168 goals in 963 appearances, the report added.
