Hookers in Brazil are getting free English lessons as they prepare for a flurry of fans to visit the country for next year's World Cup finals.

According to The Daily Star, the group's president Cida Vieira expressed that the girls will have to learn how to work out financial deals and also use a specialised vocabulary with sensual words and fetishes.

One of the volunteer language teachers said that classes would be held to advise prostitutes on how to avoid awkward moments.

Fans will also get the chance to avoid rocketing hotel rates by staying in one of Brazil's many 'love motels', which are due to get a makeover for the World Cup, the report said.
