Brazilian legend Ronaldo has told Gareth Bale to keep a calm head at the Bernabeu and not let his world record price tag become an obsession.
According to metro.co.uk, Ronaldo expressed that whenever Bale would put in a poor performance, fans would remind him that the club paid 86 million pounds for him.
Bale will be competing with the current star of Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo, for the affection of the crowd, but the former Tottenham man was keen to downplay the impact of his arrival, the report said.
Bale said that Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the major reasons why he had signed and he hoped they could help the club win trophies together.
