Actor Brett Cullen has replaced Alec Baldwin for the role of Thomas Wayne, the father of fictional superhero Batman, in the upcoming movie 'Joker'.
Baldwin, who was set to play the role, had to turn it down due to last minute scheduling conflicts.
Cullen of 'The Dark Knight Rises' fame will join Joaquin Phoenix, who is playing the titular role, while Robert De Niro and Frances Conroy have also been roped in to play pivotal roles in this much-awaited movie, which is being directed by Todd Phillips.
Apart from 'The Dark Knight Rises', Brett Cullen is well known for starring in Netflix's hit series 'Narcos'.
