A newly renovated townhouse in Brooklyn has come as a rude shock to its neighborhood, as the house featured a very exposed glass shower.

The view from the back of the townhouse displays a huge glass enclosed shower area, which overlooks the backyard, with an apparent lack of shower curtains, CBS News reported.

The neighbours said that there was plenty of discussion when the owners wanted to build an extension on their home in the back, but few remember hearing anything about an exposed glass shower.

One neighbour said that it doesn't seem appropriate in a neighbourhood where a lot of kids go to school just down the block.
