Bryan Cranston has detailed how he lost his virginity as a teen in Amsterdam's Red Light District.
During his recent interview with James Lipton on Inside the Actor's Studio, the 59-year-old actor shared how he was a young man visiting Europe with 20 of his fellow teenage pals when they stopped by the infamous (legal) prostitution hub, where nude women line the windows of red-lit "shops," News.com.au reported.
"We went to Europe for a month," the Breaking Bad alum recalled of the experience. "It cost us like seven or eight hundred dollars, if you don't include the prostitutes."
When they reached Amsterdam, he ended up tagging along with two friends he went through the LAPD Academy with who wanted to hit up the red-light district and all it had to offer, much to the actor's dismay.
"We went to Europe for a month". "We go to this house with a red light, which I thought was very convenient and subtle advertising", he recalled. "I'm backing out. I'm nervous as hell".
Inside the house, his friends negotiated a deal and went off with a pair of sex workers, while he waited awkwardly downstairs. Then a woman approached, and asked him how much money he has. "She grabs my hand and pulls me into a room", he revealed.
The experience, he said, was a mixture of two things: "Awful and wonderful". "And she and I have been married now for..." he joked.
He continued to kid around, wrapping up his story by saying that by the time he returned to the group of 20 teen boys, "I was good.
