Border Security Force (BSF) troops have seized approximately three kilograms of heroin after conducting an extensive search in BOP Kharkola area, close to the International border in the R.S. Pura sector of Jammu.
As per a Border Security Force Jammu Frontier official release, three packets weighing approximately one kilogram each were found wrapped in a yellow coloured polythene bag on Wednesday.
The approximate value of seized heroin in the open market is Rupees three crores.
An FIR has also been lodged with the R.S. Pura police station.
