The budget session of Delhi Assembly began today in the afternoon.
State BJP President Vijender Gupta sought clarification from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the House on Jitender Singh Tomar issue.
This session will have six sittings and conclude on June 30.

The budget will be presented for the remaining nine months of the current financial year.

According to reports, the budget will be presented in the House on Thursday and will be passed after the discussion.
Besides, five government Bills will also be introduced during the session which includes Delhi Legislative Assembly Members (Prevention of Disqualification) Amendment Bill and Delhi Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill 2015.
Three private member's resolutions have also been listed in the session.

The Delhi Government had earlier presented a vote-on-account in the assembly for April to June.
Meanwhile, the BJP has said that it will corner the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government during the budget session over various matters, including the alleged fake degree case of former Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar and issues related to power and water.
