BUSY 16 Becomes first to provide DVAT e-Return Filing with item code

BUSY 16, the complete business accounting software from Busy Infotech Private Limited has become the first accounting software to provide the latest Delhi Value Added Tax (DVAT) e-Return filing feature in its software.

Delhi Government has recently changed the format of DVAT e-Return. Till now, DVAT e-Return was based on Item's tax rate only but, from now onwards, apart from Item's tax rate, the taxpayer has to mention the Item's Commodity Code and Description as well.

Item Codes are standard classification codes for goods where each code indicates a specific Item Category with a unique number. For example, Item Code for Fans is 9029, whereas Item Code for Bulbs is 9030.

In BUSY 16, all that a user has to do is to map their existing Items with their respective Item Codes. Once all the Items are mapped, the new DVAT e-Return can be easily generated with just a few clicks.
