Cabinet okays transfer of defence land at Panchanpur in Gaya to MHRD

The Union Cabinet on Tuesday gave its approval for transferring 300 acres of defence land at the abandoned airfield at Panchanpur in Gaya, Bihar to the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).

The transfer will fulfil the requirement of land for the development of the Central University in Bihar, which will serve the national cause for quality higher education, research and training in unserved and under-served areas.
