British Prime Minister David Cameron has warned that Paris-style attack may take place in the UK and revealed that the intelligence prevented seven terror attacks in the last six months.
According to The Nation, he said that the anti-terror fight is the struggle of their generation and the "disease of Islamist extremist violence" is a challenge they have to face.
Cameron said that the attacks prevented in the UK were planned on a "smaller scale" than what happened in Paris.
The brutal attacks that happened in Paris could have happened anywhere including the UK, said Cameron.
The Prime Minister announced that the government would hire almost 2,000 extra spies as part of its efforts to combat the threat from terrorism.
