Angelina Jolie recently admitting while gracing Vogue's cover that after having her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed in order to take precautions from cancer she can't wait now to turn 50 to prove that she "made it".
However, the 40-year-old actress' mother and grandmother died in their 40s.
The 'Unbroken' star, who posed wearing an oversised black and white knitted jumper falling from one shoulder and giving charismatic looks for Vogue's November issue, said that she felt grounded as a woman after having a preventive double mastectomy, News.com.au reported.
In addition to this, the American legendary actress wished that her late mother would have been able to make those surgery choices, as ovaries surgeries are an easy surgery, but the hormone changes are interesting.
Notably, Jolie's mother Marcheline Bertrand died in 2007 at the age of 56 after battling ovarian cancer and breast cancer for eight years.
