English boxer Carl Froch reportedly seems to have proposed his girlfriend in the ring at Wembley Stadium, just moments after he knocked out his rival George Groves during their boxing bout.

Froch, who is a four-time world champion and is currently the reigning IBF champion at super middleweight, got down on one knee in front of thousands of fans after he won the bout after knocking out Groves with a hammer of a right hook in the eight round.

According to the Mirror, Froch, who seemingly proposed Rachael Cordingley in the ring, has two kids-Rocco, three and Natalia, who has just turned one-with his girlfriend.

However, the proposal seems to have been a misfire because after the match Froch had said that it was not for real.

Froch was reportedly unable to propose properly because he had not sorted out a ring in time.
