Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy has revealed that his wife Carla Bruni has a stalker, who sneaked into the couple's luxury holiday villa to get in touch with her.
The stalker, described as a mentally unstable German criminal, somehow managed to evade the high security surrounding France's former First Lady at her villa at Cap Negre in southern France, the Daily Star reported.
A French government source said the intruder was out to reach Carla "at all costs", but was stopped in time.
