Several people were left injured after five to six cars collided into each other on a highway, due to low visibility because of the thick smog in the Delhi-NCR region.

"The accident happened in an area, 124 km from Noida. Five to six cars collided into each other and a few people were stuck there," Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) Aditya Kumar said.

SP Kumar added the injured were taken out and sent to the hospital.

"There are four majorly injured, while several with minor injuries. But any major casualty hasn't come forward," SP Kumar said.
