Carson Daly's stepfather, Richard Caruso, has passed away after battling bone cancer.
Taking to Instagram to announce the heartbreaking loss, 'The Voice' host posted a touching tribute to his pops.
"Pops passed away today with absolute dignity & pride. The greatest man we ever knew. Our hero," he wrote alongside a photograph of his late father.
"He exemplified great faith, loyalty to family & hard work. He provided us all with so much. We're grateful," Daly added.
"His legacy lives on in all of us & anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He's reunited with mom now. Our faith remains strong. Thanks for your continued thoughts and prayers," the TV host continued.
The news comes just five weeks after the death of his mother, Pattie Daly Caruso, who died after suffering a sudden heart attack.
