Cate Blanchett, while accepting her doctorate degree in Arts from Macquarie University, has said that the process of creativity as being random yet methodical.
According to News.com.au, the 'Blue Jasmine' star quoted Ken Robinson in her speech saying one can be creative in any field, irrespective of science and arts.
The actress, who received a Doctor of Letters from the university - her third honorary doctorate, called herself "random and ring-in", as her career has been vacillating from films to theatre, mandatorily including a systematic education.
Blanchett added that Arts is the driver for innovation and exploration, giving us the opportunity to dream, thus making one human.
