Catherine Zeta-Jones' friends are concerned that the breakdown of her marriage with husband Michael Douglas could affect her mental health.
A close friend of the 43-year-old actress, former TV presenter Anna Walker, said she is very worried as the next few weeks will be very tough for Zeta-Jones, the Daily Star reported.
Walker revealed that the 'No Reservations' star just had another round of treatment for her bipolar disorder, and it will be a miracle if she kept that in check.
The ex-anchor insisted that the Welsh actress' mother is with her at the moment and good medication can really help with her problem.
It is believed that Jones' bipolar disorder, which causes severe mood swings, was triggered by her husband's battle with throat cancer.
Douglas and Jones are currently trying to patch things up and have started seeking counseling to save their family from falling apart.
