Celebrities including Justin Bieber, Ellen DeGeneres, Goldie Hawn and others showed their support for the 'Forgive for Peace campaign' with their tweets.
In honor of the UN's International Day of Peace, the 'Baby' hit-maker took to his Twitter page to urge his fans to spread forgiveness and wrote, "Let's all join the UN today and spread peace together through forgiveness. #ForgiveForPeace", Us magazine reports.
Spreading the message of good will, TV host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres tweeted, "Today is an International Day of Peace. I'm going to celebrate tomorrow too. And the next day. And the next. #ForgiveForPeace."
In addition to this, actress Hawn wrote on her Twiiter account, "Today is United Nations #ForgiveForPeace day. Forgiveness is a pathway to peace. A peaceful heart creates a peaceful world."
Others who supported the campaign were Ricki Lake and former rapper LL Cool J.
