'Celibate' Russell Brand has given up sex

Russell Brand, who dated and slept with over 1000 women, has confessed that he has given up sex and now he is a celibate and respect women more.

The English comedian, who was previously married to Katy Perry and dated stars including Kate Moss, Jemima Khan and Geri Halliwell, said that one need to be more nourishing and open to femininity and he realized this now as he's a man who recently celibate, the Mirror reported.

The 39-year-old comedian, who was before treated as sex addict, added that he grew up in old sexist Essex and learned a lot on the subject of feminism as the loss of femininity in the culture was to the detriment of men.

Notably, Brands even went to a rehab centre in US for 30 days to curb his insatiable desire for lap dancers and prostitutes.
