The timing for the ceremonial Changing of Guard at the Rashtrapati Bhavan has been changed, effective August 15.
According to release by Venu Rajamony, Press Secretary to the President, the Changing of Guard ceremony, which takes place every Saturday, will now be amended to be held from 9.00am to 9.40am. These timings shall be observed till November 14.
The ceremony used to be held from 8.00am to 8.40am.
First opened for public viewing in 2007, this ceremony is held in the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
