Shradha Kapoor, who will be playing 'Aisha' in her upcoming romantic thriller, said that it was a character which comes across very rarely in life.
Kapoor who was in New Delhi along with his co-star Sidharth Malhotra to promote the film told ANI, "I really didn't know what my role was when Mohit Suri offered me this film because I just said yes to the film without listening to the script, but he made sure that it was really different. Aisha is one such character who come across very rarely in life, she is very happy go lucky who loves to help other people and loves to spread happiness and put a smile on other people faces and she speaks a lot and she is a non-stop chatter box."
Talking about the challenges of her role the 'Aashiqui 2' star said, "It was really difficult to speak so much and to say so many dialogues because I have never said so many dialogues ever before and she has this thing when she cracks joke you know. Mohit told me to watch a lot of stand up comedians and how they crack jokes so it's a very different role from my previous film and she has this free sought of bohemian vibe to her so yeah I hope people like seeing me in this role. All our roles are very different and it's the first time Sidharth or Ritesh are doing something like this. So for all three of us it was a challenge."
Adding to which lead actor, Sidharth Malhotra said, "That's what makes the film interesting because you have never seen us play this shade before and so it's not monotonous it cannot be boring and there is something new."
Directed by Mohit Suri, Ek Villain is slated for a 27th June release.
