Vanessa Hudgens, Charles Melton and Alexander Ludwig are all set to star in 'Bad Boys 4 Life'.
The trio is joining Will Smith and Martin Lawrence and will play a highly specialised police unit that collides with the Bad Boys when a new threat emerges in Miami, reported Variety.
Joe Pantoliano is also on board to return as Captain Howard for the flick.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing the sequel from a script by Chris Bremmer, with earlier drafts by Peter Craig and Joe Carnahan. Jerry Bruckheimer will produce the upcoming film along with Doug Belgrad and Smith.
Ludwig has been a rising star with roles in movies like 'The Hunger Games', 'Lone Survivor' and 'Grown Ups 2'.
Hudgens most recently starred in the Netflix film 'The Princess Switch' and will be seen next in the rom-com 'Second Act'. In 2019, she will appear in the Netflix thriller 'Polar'.
Melton can currently be seen on CW's 'Riverdale' and previously appeared in 'American Horror Story' and 'Glee'. He will be seen next in Warner Bros. and MGM's 'The Sun Is Also A Star'.
The movie is set to go on floors next month and is slated to release on January 17, 2020.
