British hunk Charlie Hunnam and former 'Ben and Kate' actress, Dakota Johnson, have been chosen to play the lead male and female protagonists in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' flick.
After months of media speculations, Focus Features and Universal Pictures made the official announcement regarding the castings on Monday, Fox News reported.
The 'Sons of Anarchy' star will star as billionaire Christian Grey, while Johnson, daughter of actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, will star as the college student, Anastasia Steele, attracted to Grey.
The film, which will be helmed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, will hit the theatres in August 2013.
