Chennai Super Kings reach CL20 semi-finals after beating Brisbane Heat

Chennai Super Kings have booked their spot in the semi-final of the 2013 Champions League Twenty20 tournament, after they beat Brisbane Heat convincingly by eight wickets in a match played at Ranchi.

Brisbane was invited to bat first by Chennai, who won the toss and they made 137/7 in their allotted 20 overs.

In reply, CSK reached their target with more than four overs to spare and with only two wickets lost.

Michael Hussey of the Chennai Super Kings franchise was adjudged the player of the match.
