China's Ministry of National Defense has reportedly said that the US' spying actions against China exposes its hypocrisy.
The remark has been made in the wake of recent US spying allegations, where documents leaked by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden have revealed that the country has been conducting spying espionage on Huawei Technologies.
China's Defense Ministry spokesman Geng Yansheng said at a press briefing that the recent reports on U.S. spying activities against China, its businesses, and people, expose the U.S.'s "hypocrisy" and "tyranny", the PC World reported.
Yansheng added that China will take effective measures to strengthen its work on Internet security.
While the NSA declined to comment on the Huawei allegations, it said that the agency only targeted valid foreign intelligence groups.
