China has expanded its economic partnership with Kazakhstan by signing 33 deals worth 23.6 billion dollars, covering distinct areas ranging from hydropower to steel.
The agreements were reached after Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Masimov paid a visit to China and held a meeting with Chinese premier Li Keqiang on Friday.
Besides hydropower and steel, some of the others areas covered by the deals include oil refining and cars.
"The inking of the deals show the success of bilateral cooperation, and proves that the two countries' economies are complementary," said LiKeqiang.
"China's equipment and technology are cost-effective, which are suitable for countries promoting industrialization," he added.
