China has called for the world to "de-Americanise" amid government shutdown and budget crisis in the United States.
Chinese authorities said that the American government, its economy and leadership were in shambles and this was the right time that the world stopped relying on the supreme power, the Washington Times reports.
Treasury Secretary Jack Lew showed concerns that the US will default on its debts in two days time, if a budget deal is not reached.
China further added that such alarming days, when the destinies of other nations are in the hands of a hypocritical country, have to be terminated.
