After an internal investigation into sexual assault claims, actor and stand-up comedian Chris Hardwick is all set to return back to his AMC shows, 'Talking Dead' and 'Talking With Chris Hardwick'.
E!Online quoted AMC's' statement, saying, "Following a comprehensive assessment by AMC, working with Ivy Kagan Bierman of the firm Loeb & Loeb, who has considerable experience in this area, Chris Hardwick will return to AMC as the host of 'Talking Dead' and 'Talking With Chris Hardwick'. We take these matters very seriously and given the information available to us after a very careful review, including interviews with numerous individuals, we believe returning Chris to work is the appropriate step."
AMC conducted an internal investigation after Hardwick's former girlfriend, Dykstra, posted an essay on an online publishing platform in which she talked about the "emotional abuse" she underwent during her relationship with him.
She also wrote that she "let him sexually assault" her "regularly" during their time together.
Later on, Hardwick said in a statement that he was 'blindsided' by her post and denied the allegations.
