Several people staged protest against the killing of a local youth in Peerbagh area of Srinagar on Thursday.
The local police earlier today recovered the dead body of the youth near Railway Bridge in Peerbagh area.
According to sources, the youth has been identified as Owais Bashir Malik S/o Bashir Malik, a resident of Peerbagh. Owais had gone missing from Jan 12.
The protestors blocked the Airport Road and pelted stones at the Police.
The police had to fire tear gas shells to disperse the mob.
