Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday complimented the Delhi Police for bursting the espionage racket and added that during interrogation, the police should try to reach the top people who would benefit from the information.

"Compliments del police 4 bursting espionage rkt. During interogations, police shud try to reach top people, who wud benefit from leaked info," Kejriwal said in a tweet.

Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had yesterday demanded a speedy conclusion in the ongoing case.

On Thursday, Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi had confirmed that several people had been arrested for their alleged involvement in the leaking of classified documents from the Petroleum Ministry.

The Police Commissioner informed that those arrested were temporary multi-tasking staff in Shastri Bhawan and had been indulging in such activities for some time, using fake identities to enter the building.

Two former journalists are among those who were caught.
