Coca-Cola plans to invest $4bn in China to build factories, add new products

Coca-Cola has reportedly announced that it plans to invest 4 billion dollars in the Chinese market to build factories and add new products to its portfolio.

The president of the soft-drink manufacturer's Greater China and Korea business unit, David Brooks said that the company plans to invest the money between 2015 and 2017.

According to Washington Times, Coca-Cola is also investing 4 billion dollars in China between 2012 and 2014 as the company is expanding in emerging markets such as Russia and China.

The company intends to reach 200 billion dollars revenue by 2020, by catering to the rising middle class in emerging markets, the report added.
