Coldplay has sent its fans on a globe-spanning hunt for lyrics from their new album 'Ghost Stories' hidden in ghost story books in libraries across the world.

The British band said that one of the lyrics sheets will also contain a free trip to London which will allow fans to catch the band's July 1 concert at the Royal Albert Hall, People Magazine reported.

The band's official Twitter account will provide hints to find the lyrics that are written by the band's frontman Chris Martin.

The new gimmick has been brought on to promote Coldplay's upcoming album.
