Colin Firth's wife, Livia, has revealed that her Italian family members thought that the Oscar winner actor looked "constipated" as Mr Darcy in BBC's adaptation of 'Pride and Prejudice'.

Livia, who started dating the 53-year-old actor before the BBC series started airing, said that her family didn't find the 'The King's Speech' star sexy after they saw him playing Mr Darcy, the Daily Express reported.

She further added that Italians can't deal with English restraints, but, the 'A Single Man' star eventually won them over because he wasn't like Mr Darcy at all.
