Australian all-rounder James Faulkner has stated that he is confident of making a return to the Test squad following his selection in the 15-man squad for the World Cup.
The emerging all-rounder's rise in the one-day cricket has limited his push for Test selection, while appearing to have slipped behind Mitch Marsh for the Test all-rounder's spot.
Faulkner said that he knew if he could string some red ball cricket together he was sure he could play Test cricket again, News.com.au reported.
According to him, one has to score a lot of runs and take lot of wickets at a first-class level to get picked.
