The Congress Party on Tuesday criticised Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Babulal Gaur for his controversial "Dhoti" remark made at a state-level BJP convention.
"It is shameful what Gaur has said. He has been making such comments about women time and time again. This exposes his and his party's mindset as far as women are concerned. Gaur should immediately apologise for his comment," Congress spokesperson Shobha Oza told ANI.
On Sunday, Gaur had reportedly disclosed to party workers that he had once told the wife of a Russian leader that though he couldn't show her how to wear a dhoti, he could teach her how to remove it.
