Union Minister for Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs M. Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday accused the Congress of placing obstacles in the path of development.
Naidu alleged that the Congress was spreading wrong information about the Land Acquisition Bill. He also appealed to political parties to not pay heed to the evil designs of the Congress and support the Central Government to carryout development work.
He said that economy of the nation has improved, inflation has been brought under control and the growth rate has touched 7.4 percent during NDA government in the last one year.
The Union Minister was addressing a press conference at Bhubaneswar on the occasion of first anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government at the Centre.
