Launching a fresh attack on the Congress, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra on Wednesday alleged that corruption has been the core agenda of Rahul Gandhi led party.

Sharpening his attack, he said that the Congress party has displayed posters of two "accused" outside their office, one of their president Rahul Gandhi and the second of Priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra - who is appearing before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today in connection with an alleged money laundering case.

Vowing to make "revelations" that will rattle the Congress, Patra alleged that Vadra got kickbacks from a petroleum deal in 2009 during UPA 1 and also received a huge sum from a defence deal.

"Gone are those days when Vadra possessed only one property in London, reports say he has eight properties in London," he claimed.

He alleged that Vadra, along with the help of his close aide Sanjay Bhandari, used the money received from kickbacks for purchasing a mansion in London's Branton Square.

The BJP spokesperson also alleged that CC Thampi, who "helped" Bhandari and Vadra, at that time, was being probed by the ED in a Rs 1000 crore Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) violation case.
