Nepali youth held with Rs. 39 lakh worth morphine

A Nepali national was arrested for allegedly carrying 39 grams of morphine by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) near Indo-Nepal border in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh.

The accused identified as 32-year-old Lal Bahadur Sonar, a resident of Banke district in Nepal. was arrested on Wednesday from Rupaidiha area, with morphine worth Rs. 39 lakh in the international market according to SSB.

The accused along with the seized drug was handed over to Rupaidiha police station and a case registered against him.
